Hello Sweet People!

My name is Cheri Downey and I am the owner of Cher Ceramics. I have been creating and practicing ceramic art since 2014. I was born/raised in Northern CA and attended college in IL where I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Art (Ceramic concentration). I initially had intentions of becoming an Art Therapist, but instead I decided to pursue ceramics full time in 2022 when I opened a commercial studio "Ceramic Therapy Studio" in Crossville, TN. In 2024 we sold the studio and moved to Huntsville, AL where I currently have a home studio set up. The idea of another commercial studio is to be determined!! ;)

As for my work, I specialize in unique, handcrafted, & functional dinnerware/kitchenware. I take pride in my attention to detail and soft color palette. Every piece I make is thoughtfully designed and meticulously crafted to add beauty and creativity into your home!
